Providing Fantastic Support to our 2023 Summer Events

Working 2 jobs this summer Sunday 4:00 pm to Friday 4:00 pm at Camp Tracy as a Summer Camp Counselor 24 hrs a day 

Then Working Summer Tournaments  from Friday 4:30 pm to Sunday 3:00 pm  as a site Director 

Always willing to promote the great Game of USA Softball  for all ages .

SMCC Softball Head Coach Position

Southern Maine Community College (SMCC) invites applications for the position of Head Softball Coach to begin immediately with on the field coaching duties and recruitment of student athletes for the fall of 2021. This is a part time stipend position that reports to the Director of Athletics. SMCC Softball is a member of the Yankee Small College Conference and the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA).

2021 Tournament Dates

USA Softball Commissioners met today 10/17/21.

The following tournament dates and sites were announced and tournament apps will be available soon on the USA Softball of Maine website.

All JR. Olympic ages will happen in the greater Waterville area on July 23-25.

Adult tournaments:
Men D  in Augusta   July 10-11
Mens E in Lewiston/Auburn July 10-11
Adult Co-Ed in Bangor July 17-18

All these dates and sites are contingent on the Covid situation.

Umpires Needed

The Greater Portland is looking for Softball umpires for 2021.

USA Softball of Maine will provide training in the Spring.

Opportunities for H.S. umpires, Girls Recreational and Jr. Olympic.

Slow pitch pay rate is $40 a game .Jr. Olympic is $45 a game.
