My whole life I have grown up playing softball, I started at t-ball and when I was old enough to swing a bat, I have stuck with the great game of USA Softball. I have been fortunate to have parents and grandparents believe in me and encourage me to try different sports to see what I wanted to pursue and found that the game of softball was my passion. I have played with Team Jaws for the last 6 years and MAYSA Blue Angels for the last 2 years. Throughout the years these teams have become second family to me, and the softball field has become my second home. The coaches and players that I have met have given me the support to become the player and person I am today. I have learned how to grow as not only a player, but as a leader on and off the field. These teams and the sport of USA Softball have also taught me hard work, dedication and how to be a better person.

I am so grateful for the support system that has allowed me to pursue my future academic and career goals. I will be dual majoring at Eastern Oklahoma State College, business and life sciences, pre-physical therapy, after graduating

College I plan to open my own practice to future generations of young girls to have  the chance  to enjoy the same opportunity that I was fortunate enough to have  growing up in the USA Softball program. Provide the safe and supportive environment that was so happy to enjoy..

Child Psychology

I can say without a doubt that I would not be the person that I am without my participation in USA Softball. The experiences I was able to have through my time with the Capital Mainiacs and Maine thunder teams encompass my most cherished memories, they are how I spent my family time growing up. Those experiences have taught me valuable lessons and shaped me into the young woman that I am today. There is no doubt in my mind that I would not be headed off to Boston to chase my dreams of playing college softball and becoming a clinical child psychologist without these experiences.

The best part about both of these teams, however was the relationships we built. They kept a core group of families and players together for many years.

The Mainiacs teams Soule and Tibbetts often traveled and worked together and felt like one big family, I always felt like I had summer sisters on both teams.

There were a huge group of parents watching over all of us, encouraging us, protecting us and enjoying our successes. My Maine thunder teams allowed me to advance to the next level of play in USA Softball which I am truly honored.

I now realize just how luck I was to enjoy all the experiences that USA Softball has been able to provide me. I am now ready to embark on my new journey for life and the game of softball and I am so grateful for all the cherished times that I have enjoyed.

None of which would have been possible without the folks like Jeff Marshall and Maine USA Softball giving of themselves so little girls can play the game that they love.
